Desperation…complete desperation. That is what our need for God should be. There
are days where I’m just hit by just how utterly badly we DAILY need to be
filled with God. I question how I can even survive a single day not having a
strong fellowship with Him. I can’t imagine it on a day like today. We NEED
God. God isn’t a convenience. He isn’t something we do to make ourselves feel
better about ourselves. Or something we ‘do’ to gain something. He isn’t some
magic genie. He is the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE. We desperately and direly need Him.
We can do absolutely NOTHING without Him. He is our life. He is what gives us
life and sustains it. He is the only way we know what is right and what is
wrong. He is truly our daily living water. Not having any sucks the life out of
you. There is no alternative. We are desperate to be filled by our living God. The
provider of life.
